Passenger Service Officer (Ferry/Cruise Operations)
Responsibilities

- Handle passenger boarding at Boarding Gate/Pontoon
- Ensure smooth passenger traffic, baggage operations and land transport access that meet terminal users’ needs.
- Check in passengers
- Handle boarding process
- Enforce workplace safety and health rules within terminal
- Carry out crowd control and emergency services when needed
- Assist passengers with special needs.
- Perform quick remedial actions on standard equipment breakdown
- Handle baggage Check-in
- Ensure baggage are correctly and safely loaded on board
- Oversee porter services
- Manage cash handling for excess weight at ferry terminals
- Carry out crowd control and emergency services when needed
- Handle passengers disembarkation
- Check passport and supporting documents for disembarkation
- Ensure passengers follow safe disembarkation practice
- Assist passengers with special needs
- Provide excellent service to passengers
- Attend to passenger’s requests, enquiries and complaints
- Record service standards and ensure service targets are met.
- Monitor performance of contractors and report any shortcomings
- Follow safety, housekeeping, security and health procedures
- Conduct daily inspection to ensure overall cleanliness and safety at terminal
- Monitor and report any non-conformances or incidents pertaining to safety, security and health regulations
- Handle passenger boarding at Boarding Gate/Pontoon
Requirements
- Minimum 'O' level qualification
- Able to perform 6 days shift work
- Knowledge and Hands on experience on Passenger Services
- Generally works in a Ferry/Cruise terminal environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical terminal setting
- Work Locations - Tanah Merah, Harbour Front, Pasir Panjang
